hi, i am buying a seamax hd 330, i will only be rowing it for now. i was wondering what are some good spots i could try it out at and do some fishing around edmonton, leduc, beaumont area. i will be heading out sunday morning. any help would be muchly appreciated.
The NSR is a great fishery. Other that that, there is coal, close to you. If you dont mind the drive there is jackfish, spring, chicacoo. Your best bet would be to pick up a "Barry Michles" guide. It has a listing of most fishable waters. And well worth the ten bucks. Good luck this season.
i was also wondering if hermitage park would be big enought to throw the boat in, i've never been down there, but i do alot of reading on it and it seems that people are catching decent fishing in there
Start in Devon, end up in Edmonton. A good time in a canoe, so why not a row boat. It makes me feel a little under gunned when I see those guys from the Edmonton rowing club rip by, and my little boat has trouble beating the current.
If I had alittle row boat I would go to Half moon lake just north of Bonacord for pike and perch.
For trout I would go to Sardine lake its just one hr west of leduc.
They don't allow boats at Hermatage
what about telford lake any good fishing there. and also i've beening looking every where to see when it opens up and i can't find it anywhere. anybody know when it open up?
