Went to the town site today was getting a little soft around the edges not bad tho still buries the auger drilling a hole. Fished for a while and was slow, moved closer over by the train tracks still 100 m away or so and was only 12-16 inches of ice so in places.

I drove on wit a 3/4 ton today, Saturday was prob 15 trucks today was 6 won't be too much longer tho

That was true earlier in the day but late on Sunday when I was leaving the area where I was at in my half ton, there were large ruts forming and it was quite a step off the last bit of ice, there was probably a 3 to 4 foot gap of water between the ice and the shore. Also saw where some others had broke through the soft white ice down to the good black ice, so good 4 to 8 inch pot holes, not unlike driving in the city right now though. All in all not really corvette country till it refreezes.
