Important: The T-POD is not intended for ice fishing. The wide cone and overall transducer design is for the open water. It will function floating in an ice hole, but you may experience excessive noise and difficulty seeing your bait. Consider a Vexilar Flasher for ice fishing.

I have used this device, and it drops connection more than expected... Also we were in about 8 fow and it was saying there was fish swimming by but we didn't see anything... It did pick up the few fish we saw and is quite a cool toy!
