Default Crawling Valley Help?

I've never caught a pike or walleye and have mostly trout stuff in my tackle box. I'm going for a day on CVR and will be catch and release so don't want to use bait. I have a few Len Thompson's, CD rapala's and several spinners but most are 1/4 oz. I may toss the flyrod a bit and have several streamers (leeches and buggers) that may work, and a great looking mouse fly.

Anyone care to give some advice? Just looking for a reasonable day with the better half. We will be boating, elec troller and fish finder. I'll go shopping if nessecary.

TIA

i talked to a buddy from Taber a couple days ago...he told me the pike are still back deep in the shallow bays on the west side....he was throwing floating cranks...but got the bigger fish on 3.5 inch twister tails in yellow.

That sucks the travers thread is gone, I learned a ton about reservoir walleyes and was eager to hear more, it's a whole new ball game for me going from the boreal lakes to the prairie reservoirs
