Default Bow river

Gonna be fly fishing the bow Tommor was wondering what's working right now

Canmore area

I fished within Canmore a few weekends ago and it was a tough go that's for sure. Tried a bunch of nymph combos below a wire SJW and not even a sniff!! Even resorted to a bunch of whitie nymphs!! Only thing I didn't try was midges and a sink tip with streamers! All the water I fished should have held fish!!

Had the most luck with hare's ears and princes, the whites are also feeding on trout eggs at this time of year also. Good luck, stop in at wapiti sports the people there are knowledgeable and can point you in the right direction.

What's the limit in the Bow in Canmore area?! I was trying to figure it out from the regs but just mentions Apr. 1 to Mar. 31...
That's relying on catching something though...

Canmore & tributaries except Canmore and Policeman creeks – Open
all year.
 Apr. 1 to Mar. 31 – Brook Trout limit 2; Other trout limit 0;
Mountain Whitefish limit 5 over 30 cm; Maggots are the only bait
allowed and only in the river from Aug. 16 to Oct. 31.

Ended up being pretty slow but got one white Sunday morning on a tiny red wire worm
