Trout is always slower in the heat of the summer. Expect more action earlier in the morning as water does cool over night.
During the heat fish low and slow. In the evening look for dry fly action. Fish cooler days.
Remember to fight them faster and take time to release and keep them I the water as much as possible. When warm they may start getting oxygen deprivation damage after just 20-30 seconds.
Lactose acid built up can kill the fish even after it slowly sinks to the bottom.
