Default hope he survived the season.....

hope this guy makes it to next year.....saw him in velvet in august and september, no signs in october, my hunting partner saw in a week later 1.5 miles south of this picture location....
picked up the trail camera yesterday after removing treestand which was 35 yards from camera....
these old bucks get old and smart....!

He actually doesn't look that old and will be really special next season. They are starting to wizen up again so hopefully he makes it. The rut is not as intense as some years around here so the bucks look plenty fat for winter. Hopefully that doesn't mean a long cold one.
