Default Vexilar portable smartphone sonar

Just saw this on fishin holes website. Wondering if anyone has any experience with this unit. Interested but want to know if it's difficult to use or set up. Any info would be a help.

Thanks

I have the castable one but have yet to use it. Maybe I'll take it out this week.

Default Sonar Phone

Works great on phone but a tablet or Ipad would work better because the icons are pretty small on you phone.

I used it ice fishing and could see my hook on the screen so very sensitive.

Used it in a river too and got depths of holes and saw fish on screen.

Lake use on boat I will try this weekend.

We have one as well. clouserminnow summed it up we use it in places where we don't have the boat. On the float boats/in river/trout ponds? We have never had any issue? I was sceptical of its ability at first but it has served us well for years now?
