Bow river banff

Anyone ever fish the bow in banff?
Any good spots?

And do I need a different license for fishing in a provincial park?

National park fishing license is required, you can get it at the national park office in downtown banff.

Lots to explore in the park with a fishing license.

The river is open from Banff to Lk Louise. Above Lk Louise is hard walking because of the remaining snow along the sides.

Bears are out looking for food now between those 2 points.

From Banff boundary to Canmore, the snow is pretty much gone except in heavily treed or shaded areas.
