Bought boat last winter, motor was winterized
It's 1994 Envirude 2 stroke V4 120
Has separate gas and oil tank ( oil injected)
Never de winterized motor before, so help will be needed
I did change gear oil, put new gas and new oil, new battery ( group 31)
What else do I need to do? Or just fire it up
Nothing. Tie leg into your Water tap (water press, attaches to your water hose/leg of motor on intake side). Turn water on. Fire up engine (idle) for 5 minutes. Make sure water exiting motor at rear. Good to go. Have fun.
I just did mine as well, a 2008 Yamaha 20 hp 2 stroke. One thing I'd add is, change the spark plugs.
One thing I did different this year is to do a Seafoam engine clean with the motor treatment as well as cleaned the carb with the top engine clean/spray. I'm sold on the product, after I was done, it was running much smoother at idle which is important for me because I do a lot of trolling with it.
