Default K lakes ice fishing

Anyone have any info on methods for catching cutties in k lakes? Also any info on the depths I can expect to find them at is appreciated. I’ve caught them in the summer on chronies and scuds, not sure on how they feed in the winter . Any info is appreciated! Feel free to pm as well.

try chronies and scuds, or even a san juan worm

is it better in shallower depths in the winter? I have only caught them deep in the summer.

Quick Question - has anyone been out to Upper K yet this winter? Curious if there is an update on ice thickness. Thanks.

Upper is probably ok although I haven't fished it as it looked sketch as hell when I was out there last.
I was on lower k last week and the week before and it was 7 to 9 inches.
The upper is much deeper and seems to take longer to freeze.
You should be good to go on lower but be careful on upper.
