Deck cover

Is there any covering that you can place over existing 2x6 deck base I’m sick of staining and staining over year after year.

What type of stain are you using?

I had horrible luck with the coating type stains such as Home depot behr. It just flakes and peels off.

I've seen some coating products that feel almost like rubber coating you'd find at a kids splash pad or playground but no experience with them.

I'm using cutex now and it soaks into the wood. Much better product. Still should reapply every year but saves the prep and cleaning work that some of the others require!
