Default South buck lake?

Anyone been out to south buck at all lately? I was there in the summer and i did very well for walleye and saw a older fellow happer some wopper perch.

I've also heard there are some monster whites swimming around?

Any reports on fishing and ice would be awesome.

Stevey

I'm a huge perch fisherman and have posted good days in the past, I have to say the biggest perch Ive ever seen and almost had up to my hole (we could all see it) was in south buck I wasn't even going for perch and almost caught the biggest of my life on a 3" minnow. slow days become very exciting just to get a look at a monster.

Default South Buck lake

Fished it on monday ,natta ,nip ,nothing. Had the sonar in the water and it showed fish but we had 6 holes in 2 different locations and noone had a bite in 4 hrs , Theres is approx 18 to 20 inch of ice .
The Truck had no problem on the ice but a friend left his truck on the north west shore and some dink weed stole his Quad ramps from his truck. crappy when you cant even do a day of fishing without getting ripped off.
The commercial fishing will start on the first of january I am told ,so you can always buy a few whitefish on the weekend when they haul the nets .
