Default 2008 Mulie Arrowed!!!

Well I finally got it done on Saturday. Long story short. Left the truck about 6:30am walked all day blew a few stocks and at 2:30 in the afternoon I came over the edge of a steep coulee and smoked this guy at 46 yards. He ran about 40 yards stood there and fell over. Not my biggest mulie but my biggest with the bow and I'm proud of him.

Yes it was a southern Alberta mulie....and this year was the first year I really pursued them in that terrain. What a blast.

No tape on him yet but if I had to guess I'd go with 145" and hopefully surprise myself with a higher score. The 3 points on the one side will kill him as far as that goes.

You're right though it sure does make it worth it after all the blown stalks and cactus in the knee's, which I'm still removing, to have that shot and then connect. Awesome.....

I think youll be pleasantly surprised then Outcast. He should gross low to mid 150's. Tough to say for sure with only that pic, but regardless, hes a dandy, and hes YOUR'S!

Outcast, that is an awesome buck! Well done. It is the spitting image of Islander's buck from the first week of the season. His grossed in at 147" before we realized that you in fact CAN take the 4th circumferencial measurement from the odd side. Pack will be right with the low to mid 150's I think. Great deer regardless. Congrats man!
