For those that voted Trudeau, I hope your happy with his latest announcement of closing down the oil sands. He said, and I quote "You can't just shut them down, we have to phase them out".

Whooo hoooo.

Kinda of happy with my choice since she is taking on Nenshi and his tax hoopla.

Yes he does.

Money grows on trees.

Without trees no money.

Carbon kills the environment and thus kills trees.

Then no money.

I wonder where that speech was hiding on his election campaign?

I'd like to see him make that comment while on a stop in Fort McMurray.

Enough already.

This tune is wearing thin.

Let's all stop blaming others for the current governments, and concentre on getting people to vote against them in 2019.

Which is still 2.5 years away .

Every time him or her sneezes wrong, people take to crying about it.

Instead of crying,

Let's work on doing something about it.

Or history will repeat itself.

Who's crying?

I guess the liberals probably have burning ears from having to hear "I told you so" so often, but they deserve to have their noses rubbed it it!!!

Aren't the oil sands essentially shut down now anyway with the low oil prices? My understanding was that things were essentially at a crawl up in the patch because we couldn't make a buck refining what was there? Either way I don't see oil being the path of the future, maybe it might be time to start thinking about diversifying that 20% of the economy that it makes up, before we lose the chance to?

Oh well, there is a differing opinion, go ahead and crucify me now guys.

Why don't you reinsert the above assumption back into the same region of your body where you pulled it from in the first place?? How the hell does a request for a link get interrupted as conformation one's voting preference.

Well....... are you saying you never voted for him? If that's the case I apologize. If you did vote for him, then post #7 still applies.

I'm the only guy who actually admits who he voted for and that it was wrong.

But since one vote does not a government make.

It's time to get the people of the electorate out and vote in the next election.

Snivelling over what has happened won't help change what will.

So yeah.

Time to stop crap like this .

All Canadians need to accept responsibility for the current mess.
Whether you voted him in or not. We are a united country.

And all Canadians need to come together to make the change.

Not less than 40% of the eligible voters.

Its obvious you did.....typical lefty tactic when they think the right is making up facts....."link please"....assuming that statement will prove your point and we wont be able to produce any evidence. Instead of reading the OP and just googling it yourself to see if its true. Nice try but nope. Maybe you can sneak in a selfie with your shiny pony as he cruises through town on his 'grassroots tour'......this is getting more embarrassing by the day

Actually it was a good question; out of common courtesy the first post could have included more information. I wasn’t aware of his words that were spoken until the link was provided.

Everyone one who wants to make an actual opinion asks for a link. There's not a damn thing wrong with requesting the information op was talking about. Researching and gaining understanding is what someone does before making an opinion. Although some go strictly off of memes and Facebook! Which are you?

That was a stupid thing to say.

Until more viable resources for manufacturing and transportation are found, petroleum products are it.

(NB, I voted NDP federally, because of their stance on the TPP and bill C-51, so even though I'm a leftist whackjob, I never voted for him)
