Default Bull Moose Success

Well went up to Peace country to try and fill my Elk and Muley tags.... last minute I decided to throw my bow in the truck just incase I seen a moose. Fist night I connected with this guy.

First time I was on him he didn't want to come to any cow calls seemed interested but was more concerned to get to water I went and circleed down wind walked in bull gunting with a black shirt on and my bow over my head instantly he dropped his head and came right in, at 50 yards he turned broadside and circled to get my wind the shot was bang on through the lungs and he went about 50 yards and piled up

Thanks for the comments guys.

Yes this was my first bow kill moose great eating size it would also be my first farmland moose mmmmmm...BUT I am really concerned and think I have some bad news ....I just got in from butchering my moose and i have a collection little white nerd sized things. At first I thought they were just fat and then there was more and more like alot here guys, These white nerd like things are somewhat solid and some have a mucusy membrane around them. They are everywhere from on seams to mid mussle tissue.

I will head down to the F&W office tomorrow and see what they have to say however even if it is a safe thing unless they tell me its fat I think I would be too grossed out to eat it just because of how many we have seen (if you would slice through a sirloin you would see atleast one) and that is just one slice.

I am hoping for the best but I am truthfully sick to my stomach about it and really bummed out.

Thanks guys
