Everyone one who wants to make an actual opinion asks for a link. There's not a damn thing wrong with requesting the information op was talking about. Researching and gaining understanding is what someone does before making an opinion. Although some go strictly off of memes and Facebook! Which are you?

What made the most sense was the reasons for defending the pipelines. He is absolutely correct that rail is more dangerous, expensive and more polluting than running pipelines.
And I liked when he said northern bands were disappointed about the northern gateway pipeline because they were looking for big cash settlements which is also true.
I work in the oil sands and am in big favour of pipelines to get our product safely and efficiently to market. And if Trudeau has to make false promises too appease the environmental activists I can bite my lip for a bit. I think opening the Keystone XL will be the next step.
There are many things I disagree which in how he is running the country and I do not like his rampant spending. But if you watch the video again I don't think he will be phasing out the oil sands rather just validating pipelines.
Thanks for reading.
This is exactly it. The thing is the majority of our population thinks he's the wizard of oz. So by him saying that, they'll shut up about all the rigs drilling for liquid natural gas in the oil sands tailing ponds. They can feel good about themselves voting for him and carry on their busy lives of commuting for 3 hours in a 6 cyl Lexus on the 401 highway.

And the whole "drilling for liquid nat gas" comment was a serious conversation I had with a guy from Kingston. That's why he hated the oil sands...

Obviously he never fully thought this through.

Are you aware just how much pot and munchies go through an oil town???

I don't think Justin knows how much pot a 22yr old can buy on a $120k a year wage!!!

Well it is winter.
Not everyone is keen on winter sports.

I think it's called "cabin fever"
Which a lot of people are probably suffering from.

Only certain topics do I actually fully get immersed into.

You can't please everyone, but you sure can pizz a lot of people off.

It's like eating cake.

Every now and then I have a sweet tooth.
