Default Treestand rating help

Hello, I have been looking at many treestands and the majority are rated for 300 lbs. I myself are naturally large and am around 300 lbs. If I were to go up in one of these stands with all my gear (gun, binos, calls, scent, water) The total weight would probably be around 320 lbs. Would the treestand be able to support that or would i fall 15 ft to the ground and break my bones? Haha, I know there is some leeway with these weight ratings.

It all seems to depend on wich stand you have chosen to buy I have seen 80$ portable stands that say they are good for 300 pounds and 200$ portables that have the same rateing . With that said I have a friend that is about 330 and he has no problem with ladder stands and good portables (just don't cheap out on ur stand)
