Default Hanging Game In A Different Zone (WMU)

There are 6 of us going moose hunting. 3 tags for two different zones which border each other. Our camp is in the one zone. If a moose is taken in the other zone can it be brought back to camp and hung legally.

Sounds simple but one guy said they were quizzed by F&W and they had to take them to the kill site in the other zone just to prove where it was taken.

I am going to phone about this but I have heard of some contriversey from others regarding this situation. Just want to hear you thoughts.

I would think that if you could prove where the game was harvested you shouldn't have a problem. Don't take my word for it as I am making an assumption. You can take a moose back to your place of residence to be cut at a later date so I don't see a base camp in a different WMU any different.
