i have tried using massive hooks to just keep the goldeye off and i still catch them like crazy. i call them prairie piranha's. so if you're targeting both i'd just stick with the larger hook. easier to send them on their way as well cause usually they don't swallow it.

Love catching Goldeye....i believe the proper term though is Prarie Tarpoon!
