Default crawling vally

hey there guys well its that time of year again when my bucket is pulled from the garage and new line is tied on the ice rods all the gear checked and prepared to go out in the cold and start a new season.i was woundering if anyone has been out to crawling vally this season yet?I had my ice hut out there last and know the lake pretty well but do to work i havent been there yet but i hope to maybe this weekend or the start of next week at the latest i hope.so any info would be great and if your heading out there maybe i see on the lake sometime.

We are heading there on saturday bright and early. This is my first time ice fishing at crawling valley, been there lots on open water, How does crawling valley usually fish at this time of year?and where are the good spots to go on the lake?

East side in front of the islands seems to be the popular spot ...
proceed with caution , last year when you could drive every where
the ice wasnt consistent , thinner in some places ...

yes i would say the east side is good there are a few good spots over there u just have to find them look for the 2 points just to the left when looking across from the boat launch there is fish caught inbetween the two points in depths around 8-15 feet of water around the weed edge.but if you cant drive over there yet just left of the boat launch by the first island is a good spot you can walk to.hope this helps and goodluck

What all is in crawling valley? any perch or whites, I have only caught pike,walleye and ling. and whats the best method in catching them through the ice?
