Default The Eyes Of The Oldman

What a great weekend to be out fishing. If you could keep the mooneyes and goldeyes off the walleye and sauger were on the feed.3 of us caught 100 or so mooneyes, goldeyes in 2 days. Around 20 walleye,or sauger. And a few suckers to boot.It was nonstop action.

Unreal. I might have to head down with some 2lb test and an ice rod.

I love those hooks. They work good vertical jigging behind the boat.I lost my best one to a pike this weekend.Had a big hit,set the hook and it was gone.I usually have to sacrifice a few walleye hooks to the pike.

A fella could probably have a lot of fun with a 2 or 3wt fly rod, right?
Have you tried throwing fur & feathers at 'em, Dago?

I hav'ent tryed but I'm sure a guy would do good. They were chasing 1/2" minnows on the surface and hitting every bug you would see floating on the water.
