At 9:40 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible. The storm is located over northeast Calgary and is moving southeast at 15 km/h. ### This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. Tornado warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing tornadoes.

Nothing else will surprise me in 2020. And for the record to both Mother Nature and Karma: No, that's not a challenge!

I'm sure the radar was interesting to look at but watching it live as it bypassed us in Pineridge was pretty real. Two cells. Scrambled to close up the boat and move some plants. Only got just a little rain. Wonder how it was in Strathmore? Never did hear. Nasty looking clouds. Could hear the planes seeding the clouds

Got an emergency alert on my phone about it. Was good to see the system working and even better to see it didn’t amount to anything.
