any deals on these !!!!

thanks
I bought a 10x20 canopy from crappy tire on sale for $99, this one I think http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/al...l#.VrYgV-5lBcs

It had all the angles and poles I needed for my 10x12, just had to cut them to fit. I suspect it would have enough to do a 12x14, but you would need to be a bit more creative. Then I used the canopy for tarps.

Princess Auto also has aluminum and fiberglass tent poles. They come in 4ft. lengths. I bought some fiberglass and am going to attempt to scab something together.

Before anyone in Canada made an internal frame, I ordered an aluminum one from Kwik Kamp out of Montana back in 1996. Gave them the dimensions of our new tent - Outfitter 14x16x5w from Tent & Awning in Edmonton. Worked great...still have this tent.

We first set up for winter sledding in Kakwa and everyone liked our setup. Some tried to make their own the next year with exhaust tubing and flanging the ends but had a hell of a time to pull apart in when taking camp down.

We bought a 16x20x5 with 8' porch from Deluxe Wall Tents about 6-7 years ago as we had more guys in moose camp and the 14x16 was getting tight.

yup mine too
still thinking about an internal frame for it
wish I would of had a frame and used it when I went to cold lake a while back
the extra room and a wood stove would have been very nice
will be set for the trip up there next year

For an internal frame I bought the angle kit from the wall tent shop who have a warehouse in BC they ship from. You then cut 1" EMT conduit to fit. I love it and it works excellent.
