Thanks a million guys ! It’s all just kinda sinking in right now. Very exciting !! Hard to believe it actually happened. The fur on the female was only so so but the male’s was pretty good. Both are going to the taxi for shoulder mounts.

Waitaminit Partner , ya lost me and there are likely ohthers trying to figure it out as well, because we don't have it all !!
When did you shoot the second wolf, I can only assume you got him him after he cleared the alders?

The best part is that magazine shot of you carrying the 2 wolves.

The wolf and ravens and the following single wolf are excellent photos. Good hunting on the wolves.

Awesome, looks like you got the two younger ones being seen on the trail cam.

The moose and deer thank you.

One question, is the site now buggered up for more chances at getting a couple more? Will the rest avoid it or will hunger get the best of them?

Thanks for posting Popcan

Hey Cat you got it right the third one showed up about ten minutes after the other two were down. I almost couldn’t believe my eyes. Came within a whisker of threading the needle on it too. Clarksen you know what there where no ravens on the dam and about 15 mins before the wolves showed up there was a bunch of ravens causing a racket about 200 yds away like something was going on. For sure that’s what it was… they were following the wolves. Sooner it looks to me like all five of those wolves are adolescent' ish… But...there is a sixth one and he's mature, smart & massive. Sometimes he’s with the other 5 and sometimes not. That’s the one that howled at me and rattled my cage early on. Probably going to be pretty quiet out there for a few days but they’ll be back & hopefully some newcomers too. Never know.

Fantastic!
Did you fire up that Churchill I gave you to celebrate with?
I don't think you have to abandon the site, just let it settle down a bit.

Congrats on a quest that came together for you.You put in a lot of time without seeing anything and you held in there and made it happen. Also great job of videoing as well.I know how hard it is to video and hunt at the same time. Most of all thanks for keeping us in suspence during this adventure-I think I can speak for a lot of people on this forum and how we couldn't wait to see your next update on this thread.P.S. I envy your strength. I couldn't carry one wolf much less 2 and a rifle.

They will be back. I had 2 baits and they came in twice and took out 2-3 each time.
Then i have them still circling the one bait and just won't quite come in now lol smart buggers
