Default 40 inch pike

Well we had a blast out fishing today couldn't get any at first then I switched to the 15 dollar hook I had bought about 3 years ago that had never had a bite. Ended up fishing for 8 hrs today and boated over 50 pike between the 2 of us many 8 pounds plus and then this one my girlfriend caught. This fish had lost a pile of weight as its belly was a big flap of loose skin. Fish was very red almost looked bloody at the skin. Weight just under 16 pounds, was glad I bought the cradle from the fishing hole durning the sale.

As a reference I stand over 6'4"

Caught a pile this size too

As in the black one ? If so I am a mechanic and got my finger jammed between a swivel socket and a frame and then got the trigger stuck on the impact. It is almost grown out been black for 2 months or so I would guess. What happens when you rush, I was in a hurry to go fishing never it as my finger was sore.
