Default My 5yr old knows how to start a season off right !!

Hope this works , its been awhile. Took the boy out to the NSR , SK side. We only managed 6 fish total. A sucker , 2 small burbs and 3 sturgeon. This is his biggest so far and has scratches on his lips and chin to prove it. Fish DID NOT like having its picture taken http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/...z/IMG_3301.jpg!

He did it all himself. He stradles the rod holder, sits on the ground and hangs on , reeling when he can. The only drawback being he can't pump the rod. He also got one about 18lbs today. Looks like a minnow compared to this one.

No keeping. Slow start again this year. Last opener with high water was about 5 years ago , got 34 in 2days. Generally get them everytime out. GOT WORMS ?!

Put in a few more hours today. Water was up and lots of grass , needed 4oz to slow the drift , wouldn't hold in place. Picked up 5 more sturgeon , Kaiden reeled in the two biggest again.

8x10 for show and tell wednesday ! Didn't want to hold one by himself today though. I'll put a pic from today on later. Fish started kicking while I was holding it , there was a little fishhead to forehead contact. Made quite an interesting sound ! And more scratches ! Didn't even faze him! Not sure about the fish !
