Default Cracked kimber 8400 classic stock replacements

Hello
I recently dismantled a kimber 8400 classic in .325wsm to clean and noticed the stock had a crack through it behind the front pillar. It's a number of years old and is not covered by warranty. The korth group was very helpful tho trying to find a solution, we just couldn't get something to work. I have searched for aftermarket stocks with very little success. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement stock that doesn't cost an outrageous amount of money. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd have a good gunsmith install a cross bolt and be done with it. Very easy repair, all things considered.

I thought about "fixing it" but would like to get into a synthetic stock. Thanks for the suggestion tho!

Pendleton composites will make one for your kimber. I've got one on my .338 Montana.

Definitely would consider McMillan's A5:

I have been looking at McMillan but more in a spotter style stock. Although I was thinking synthetic I came across these guys. http://www.rifle-stocks.com/hardwood_grades.htm . The exhibition stocks look gorgeous and seem to be fairly well priced. Anything to watch for?

I know when dealing with the Korth group they sent me one stock that was identical except for the width where the front action bolts in. It was about 3/8" thinner. What do I need to know when I order a stock so I don't run into this problem?(it's letting me upload one picture but not the other?

Thanks

Give MCRS Tactical a call he will build you whatever you want. I will be getting him to build another stock for my next project.
