Well, maybe it's me BUT usually when something that big is shot it's usually kept pretty hush hush until the final panel scoring ... I could see 194 ... Maybe a typo ... I hope it's true but I really have my doubts !

If it was a typo she wouldn't have called it the new world record.....I'm waiting on pics.

When it was first shot, she posted it should be in the 260s, then a half hour ago she posted that it was gross scored at 294. I'm sure a world class hunting team like that wouldn't post bullsh*t.

Huge Congrats to Cody. If that's the final score he would have crushed the previous record by 35 inches for archery, and place himself about 4th overall. WR are awesome to be a part of. Can't wait to see and here the story and final score, Congrats again, hope it was caught on film!

Nothing on Men Outdoors. Another guy on the L2H crew shot a 230" typical full velvet this week too.

Kelsey just stated on her Facebook page that Cody's mulie was officially scored and grossed 294 5/8's a netted 287". They believe it to be the new world record taken with archery tackle. They said that pictures will nor be released to the public via Internet or any other method. She states that it will make an exclusive appearance in "a magazine". She will keep her posts updated as to where and when it will appear.

Lucky bugger!!!

My guess is that Garry Donald of Big Buck Mag gets first crack at the story.
Second guess is Outdoor Life/Field & Stream.

Why am I not surprised to hear this?? maybe because Cody Robbins only takes monster muleys! Really though, I am not surprised to hear that he took a world record muley. Congratulations to him, his legend grows!!

Good for him,
A good trail cam pic would be the kicker too.
One of Codys articles last year in Big Buck had a "before" pic from one of our Treebark cams on one of his deer harvests. It would be great if he got a "before" pic of this one too.

Hey Greg, how do you plan on wording that in your ads.... "Treebark Cams - World Record Quality."

Ha,
Could be a good news, bad news situation.
If true & once this story & photos breaks, it's kinda where hunting becomes more than hunting, the business side takes centre stage.
I know 4 of Codys cams are ours, and if there is a trail cam picture of this buck from ours, well, I can see it not being that easy to have our product, or any product associated with this buck.
Sounds expensive, ha.

I believe the previous record is 275". Shot by a couple fellows out of Rosetown.

It was caught on film, got the inside scoop
