Would anyone know if the ice is still walkable?

I wouldn't, open water on some lakes in the okanagan and Monte didn't freeze until January

Seems to me that a fellow drowned in Nicola Lake not too long ago. Bad ice. Think they’re about the same elevation.

There isn't any likelyhood I'd walk on Monte after February.
