Cancun fishing in april

Just decided to take the girlfriend to Cancun, so bought some tickets today, im going there on april 18th.

I read some good things about the fishing trips, but have never been on one before. Is it worth it?? I hear it is kinda expensive, but should be a good time. Any ideas on what I should fish for or any good boats to go on? do I have to book early or can I just book them once im there?
