same par as bumpkin in my vocabulary. then again I left the citiots behind to become a proud bumpkin my 5 minute commute to work sure beats hours stuck sniffing exhaust. the other 90 minutes I can use for fishing. I just cant believe members on an outdoors forum put down someones concern about road crap no matter what it is, running into our rivers. wonder who the trolls really are on the site

You may be right but i don't think any MD has been using any hydro carbon based road oil for at least 10 years.

I think it was 3-4 years ago I wanted about 200m done in front of my place.
An Ad in the paper was advertising calcium & I called. It was cheap too !
Turned out it was for Athabasca area / County & they would not do my place.

So I called the County here & their price was for oil & at a huge amount more than Athabasca. Turns out that area is subsidized. Westlock isn't & no breaks for old folks as well.

Maybe they saw the light ?
