Default who pile the ice chuck on the river bank?

I thought Herm should be ice free this weekend thanks to the warm weather. To my surprise, there are numerous ice chucks on the river bank we usually fish. I went there couple days ago. There are some icebergs but not that much like today... I guess someone pile those on the river bank? why?

thats funny. iv'e been fishing on that ice choked bank for more than a week now and unless you actually do it, it's tough to convey what it's like.

I know you fish there a lot. what do you think then? It's difficult to understand it was the water that push them so high to the shore...since the water level is so low recently....I just feel curious, that's all!

have fun to fish there, everyone! Lots of suckers in the river these days.

The blocks of ice were pushed up by other ice blocks. The ones still buoyant continued on downstream leaving just the ones on shore. I was fishing the river the day it happened and barely scrambled up the muddy bank with my gear before one came up right where i was fishing.
