Depends on the area and numbers of predators....if wolves roam the area likely not, IMHO. When my Dad took a young bull moose last week it was running with a Cow and probably the smallest moose calf I have seen of the season.....the little calf was almost blond..... I have a poor quality photo from my phone of them.
