Default nsr report april 16

went down to the bev. bridge for a couple hours this afternoon. the water is actually quite clear there but if you head down there wear rubber boots as it is VERY muddy. got a wallie and a burbot in 2 hours. also my wife thinks i should buy this t-shirt.

normally youd catch them on the river with a big fat dew worm right close to the bottom but this one took a small minnow that i was hopeing a pike would like. good luck. their only now migrating back up to edm. and in a couple weeks you should hook one.

Was watching the river today at my place. Looked like every couple hours a ton of ice would come down for about 30 min then it'd clear up. Saw a boat dodging the ice too.

Do pickerel rigs work for burbot?
