Default tonight report

Went to the bow in fish creek, made about 5 casts with a rattlin rap- landed 1, 18" brown. Good looking little fella. Just thought you guys might like to know if you live in the area and are needing to get out of the house for an hour or so.

those rattlin raps are golden in some rivers. usually catch a brown in the RDR while trying for pike. nice report.

Oh yeah definately! I just cast em as far as I can and let the current do the rest of the work. The runs I fish I pretty much snag free and I rarely lose any lures. Its just nice to have a place 5 min from home that is full of 18-25" trout.

some times switching the trebles to single hooks make releasing easier, and if you do fish snaggy areas, it helps. try to take some pics next time, always enjoy fish pics myself.
