I'm looking for any suggestions ,PLS reply with your experience and why certain manufacturers build a better trailer than the next. Also any buying tips and things to look for.I am considering a tandem 10,000# axle or a triple, dexter axles.

I have ran lots of trailers over the years, and Falcan is always a cut above the rest regarding quality.

You are gonna pay for that quality though.

I bought a PJ trailer 7 years ago. It has been a good trailer so far with no repairs other than flat tires. Seems like every second trip to the City dump requires a tire repair.

The only problem I have with it is the paint job, all the paint is peeling off in big chunks. I have looked at other trailers on the road and they all seem to be the same when it comes to the paint job.

Default Trailer suggestions

Hi folks, I spent a lot of years selling parts for some of those trailers and the paint is never great because the prep time is too short. Down to the nitty gritty of it all. The dealer will make or break the deal, customer support in the parts and service is probably most important. Good luck

I gues ive got my monies worth on my single axle dumper.somewhere 15-20 yrs old , bent the main beam that the ram attaches too once but my fault.
I'm with the guy above on the paint, early on I added a bunch of checker plate to try to help out but now the whole trailer is severely rusted.
The sides have holes right through in several places and as well the square tubing in places.
It's beyond repair I think?
Anyhow it has always worked well , bought from Airdre trailer ( this post is not a knock againest them) but the paint ...OMG !
