There have been shortages for at least the past 10 years. Beats me why people still haven’t got the message.

Thanks guys I have had several people offer me powder. I appreciate your desire to help out. I found a gentleman on this site that had the powder I was looking for, so that worked out well.

Is it gouging when 1000 large rifle primers go for $305 plus gst in an auction, and IMR4350 goes for $80 plus gst a lb in an auction? Seems the guy asking $30 per 100 is discounting the primers

$80/lb of powder is the new norm

Exactly, the days of $40-50 powder are gone, now it is $60-80 or more. And primers are now $100 or more per brick. And in the future, I don't expect powder or primers to ever return to previous prices.

$80 is what they sell that powder in most places and it is on the cheaper side, from what I understand.
Also, how can an auction be “price gouging”? Literally what someone is willing to pay for something and likely as close to market value as one can get at that particular moment.
Where do they have primers for $100 that can be shipped for a reasonable price?

Thanks to all of you who replied with offers for powder. I did find the exact powder that I wanted. So thanks for opening up your inventory for me since I never thought powder shortage would be this bad.
Cheers.

Can anyone recommend other places in Edmonton that usually carry powder other than P&D? I go there when I go to the city but I’m curious who else I’m missing in my journeys.

Budget Shooter Supply has some in stock and compared to others ones they have it listed at a decent price.
Kodiak lake show stock, but they don't ship powder and you will have to arrange your own.

Magnum primers went for 410/1000 plus gst. That's not gouging it's an auction consenting adults with no LRM primers bidding away. the LR were a bargain lol

Found 8# of IMR4350 today in Bozeman MT, $380. OUCH! last powder I bought was 37$/pound and I thought that was bad.
