Default Imr sr4756

I was gifted almost 1 lb of SR4756. I know that it was primarily used to reload shotgun ammo. I also have found that some people used it in some rifle and handgun loads. But I haven't been able to find any load data online, or from my 3 different reloader manuals. I know some have used it in .44 mag so I presume that I might be able to use it in a Colt .45. Also does anyone have load data for .223, .308, and .45Colt. Quickload and GRT do not list it. I know it is discontinued, but would like to use this lb. I was given.

Thank you in advance

I have it in the 3ed edition Ly,an cast bullet manual, for the 308.
Also in an older Lyman 45th edition manual for 45 Colt, but again, for cast bullets.
Are you looking for cast data?

I have some cast from the bullet barn for the .45 300 and 340 grains. But don't have cast bullets for either of the rifles. Ill maybe see if I can find some info from those editions of Lymans online. Maybe Ill get lucky. Thanks fellas.

Thank you gentlemen I was able to find some info by downloading the 44th and 48th edition of Lymans. Never thought to look at Lymans until you both mentioned it. Now to see if I can find some cast for the .223 and .308 just to try out. Only have 1lb so it will be just a small reloading project.
Thanks all.

The 14th Edition Speer reloading manual lists some loads for SR4756 in 45 Colt. Both for cast in 225, 230, and 255 gr., and for jacketed bullets in 225 and 230 gr.

Bullet Barn will have both calibers. You might be able to sweet talk the owner to selling you samples of each.
