I just love those 80gr Ttsx 25 cal. I load them in my 25-06 AI at 3875fps. And load them in my oldest daughters normal 25-06 at 3500fps. They’ve shot thru everything we’ve aimed at. I’ve let buddies use my rifle here and there when the need arises and they’re just blown away with how good it works.

One of my younger brothers shot his moose the other day with his 25-06 AI and he used the big bullets. 100gr Ttsx. Shot was broadside, 100yds. Caught the shoulder blade, broke a rib going in. Broke a rib going out, thru some shoulder muscle and the blade, and carried on out into the world. Moose wobbled 20yds and fell over dead. Low meat damage too.

Another 2 mule does fell to my 7mm Rem Mag and 120gr TTSX. Both passed through. One was shot in front of the close shoulder, and exited a few inches back on the offside. Broke 2 ribs and obliterated the far side lung. I literally had to scoop it with my hands to get it out with the blood. Second one was perfect broadside. Through one rib and out the other. Lungs were jelly once again.

First deer ran 20yds and died on its feet and plowed through the snow. Second one ran 30yds and tipped over. Both had good blood trails to follow anyways. Both shots were just over 300yds

I'm limited in experience with Barnes bullets. I have only shot 4 animals with them. Recovered 2 of them. 99% and 100% weight retention and all dropped on the spot. Very little meat damage was a plus. Expansion was good.

Im shooting 180gr at 2780 fps, range was 175 yards front chest/neck shot. To be honest i was expecting more penetration. This bullet stopped within 12 inches.

Another WT buck fell to the 308 Win 130gr TTSX. MV 3050fps and this deer was 88yds away. I’ve never seen such a big hole in or out with the TTSX. The entrance is bigger than the exit.

Well, not a TTSX but a TSX out of my .303 Brit- FINALLY recovered a bullet after 12 years of killing critters with them! LOL
shortest was 19 yards, furthest was over 370 yards. This was the only bullet I have recovered, all the rest when through and nothing went far if at all.
This one was taken out of the neck of yesterday's white tail at right around 100 yards, I never did range it after.
Recovered just under the hide on the far side, hard quartering shot .

Pulled from at WT over the weekend. Hard quarter away at about 100 yards. Deer is dead so the bullet didn't fail lol.

270 win 110gr TTSX

Hunting partner and I both got our WT bucks.

- 7mm Rem Mag 150 grain TTSX @ 310 yds broadside 3 ribs back from shoulder, broke rib on way in and exited out the other side with about a 2in exit hole. Deer went 40 yards.

- .308 Win 150 Grain TTSX @ 135 yds slightly quartering away scapula punch. Scapula was in 3 pieces. Bullet exited out the other side where the shoulder meets the neck. Deer dropped dead on impact. I did recover 2 of the copper petals and the blue polymer tip during the butchering in the shot shoulder. First time I have ever found a piece of a Barnes bullet in any of our animals, though this was a direct scapula hit at relatively close distance.
