Default If you had one day only

To catch a sturgeon with no boat would it be:
A) NSR
B) lower Bow
C) lower red deer
D) lower oldman
E) SSR between Lethbridge and the Hat
Or
F) SSR between the hat and sask border

What would you fish?

I'd be hitting up Wayne Christie and ask him to take me out for sturgeon on the SSR

Edit:
I just noticed the part about "no boat"..... I'd still be hitting up Wayne

G) None of the above

I'd prefer the Columbia River somewhere between Astoria, OR and Portland, OR

Almost did this year, will set aside a day or two to fish Sturgeon there on the next trip south for sure

Seems a fair bit of travel when you have one day only as OP indicated!

I'm guessing it's a 12+ hour drive, so you would only get there and have to turn around. No fishies for you!

Cheers

The OP didn't specify which day so I'll pick one of the days I spend in the area visiting my daughter and grandson every year..........if that's ok with you?

I almost went this year but spent all my time paintballing with my teenage grandson (yeah, I paid for it...LOL) and only crossed the river quickly twice, once coming, once going. I'm seriously considering going sturgeon fishing next year. Mind you, rather than sit on the shore, I'll probably do the guided fishing thing and increase my chances. If the fishery is open to keeping one that is the best chance I'll have of getting one.
