Anybody know if they're bringing back the muzzleloader/shotgun season?

Heard from the guys at exile outdoors that its opening back up for this season. Was told fish and fur had a lot of negative feed back when they closed it last year. Not to start any rumours but that's what I have heard

I've heard this as well, from warehouse sports guys in st. Paul. I sure hope so.

We'll know all the legislated changes when the new regs are published.

As of last Dec., ESRD was not entertaining re-instating a muzzleloader season.

From the Dec. 2012 AGMAG meeting notes.

Muzzleloader season --- AFGA presented a proposal once again for establishing muzzleloaders seasons and were advised by ESRD that the issue had been dealt with extensively, the current season had been dropped (primarily because of landowner reactions) and there is no further support for this. Common consensus among the other stakeholders is the majority of muzzleloaders used today are basically single shot rifles.
