What hunting arrows you shooting?

I use the wrench and weights with grest sucess on the GT arrows. Never had 1 come loose and with the wide range of different weights it is easier to get the perfect spine for your bow as opposed to starting long and cutting in small increments.

I would guess they should work then....once you find the weight you like take them out and add some blue Loctite.

Did they have the wrench in stock? It took me 3 weeks to get the weights and 6 months to get the wrench, hope you have better luck.

Jimbows has the tool and they carry the weights for the GoldTip Arrows.

Thanks LC, I just ran out of 50's for my Trad arrows and thats alot easier than ordering from Lancaster. Scared to step foot in there, might be expensive.

Got the wrenchs ordered at same time...kinna silly as the inserts are no good without wrench...lol unless you installed them before glueing in inserts...

So I was shooting the pse Hunter Stl 300's however I just purchased a set that 2 arrows had blistered shafts and another shaped like a banana ( how did these pass QC) Anyway im changing arrows.

Im shooting a 2013 elite answer with a peak weight of 66lbs with a 28" arrow
the stl's are a .340 spine @ 8.6 GPI.
Now when referencing a few different arrow spine charts some list I should be in the 400 some the 340.

Is there going to be a issue running the 400's so I stay in the GPI rating I currently am now? I dont really want to change my whole set up.

Wow darts ...lol..with that short of an arrow combined with a wrap that would be one stiff spine..what spine and rest?...not thinking it isnt right just interested on how your setting up?

Hi Neil.....I shoot a .400 spine off a QAD HDX Ultra. Darts is right. lol People that see me shoot at 3D Tourneys, say my arrows look like yellow lasers. The arrows fly great, and I can shoot my broadheads into Tim Horton lids at 50 yards, right alongside with my field points. That being said, I've been toying with the idea of shooting 125 grain heads. That would give me a higher FOC and arrow weight. I'd only be giving up about 7 fps, however I have a bunch of 100 grain broadheads.

I would go 340, I shoot similar setup in a Goldtip hunter XT 340 spine.
