Default Wendy is trying, very trying.

Wendy got her petition sponsored, if people don't understand the thought lines in Ottawa at this point, they really ought to read this;

The scary part is, that she is involved with corrupting university students. These young and clueless students are being socially engineered to believe her nonsense.

What does "More crime guns that are traced come from Canadian sources" even mean? More than what? More than when? Total fear mongering and open-ended lies.

And then of course the comparison to Japan, a country with strict punishment, a mono-culture, virtually no immigration and no indigenous angst.

And the fact is ignored that an AR-15 or a handgun CAN be used as a hunting rifle or pistol save for the fact that we can't legally take them anywhere but to the range.

What a snake in the grass she is.

I threw up in my mouth when I read the petition. If they were to start banning and confiscating I feel like I would need to find a new country to live in.

The big danger on this is media promotion, which e1883 will not get equal share of. Think about this getting on CBC/CTV and the major newspapers. There are people out there willing to fund that type of promotion. Think about how we promote against it on an equal footing? You know the Liberals will quietly promote it as well, and when it comes time, tout it as the will of the citizens and the mandate they have been given. And Wendy can promote it with her friends down south and elsewhere to have it signed, as it can be, just like Blair's questionnaire can be signed from outside the country. And the Libs won't care about that, they'll just use the numbers to reinforce their spiel. I've seen post about F&G clubs and gun clubs and stores not willing to participate in getting the word out, suspending members for posting articles to promote our side of the argument as they are scared of drawing attention of the anti crowd.

143 from Ontario so far but this petition closes in March, so a long ways to go.

I just want to shoot my handguns in peace and be left alone, such a non-issue to waste time and money on.

"Handguns and military guns are not used for hunting ". I hunt with a SMLE, M44, and SKS. In my early years, I only had the Lee Enfield and hunted exclusively with it.

Since you seem very focused on accuracy and truth you ought to educate yourself before trying to counter falsehoods with falsehoods. Japan does have an indigenous people, the Ainu, and their past treatment has caused angst. Their land was stolen, integration was forced, and mostly successful attempts made to eradicate their culture. Only through a slow moving legal process beginning in the late '70s with the first substantive victory in 1997 did their plight become more widely recognised in Japan.

How has Canada "loosened it's gun laws in recent decades ? Australia's strict gun laws have actually led to an increase in gun violence.
Where's the evidence that arming for "self protection" is rising in Canada? If someone put that on their RPAL application it would be immediately denied.
Kooky Wendy will make up lies that her liberal sheep suck up like water.
