Default Wab on the Fly

Hit Wab yesterday with the pontoon boat and the 9 weight flyrod. Great day for flyfishing...bad day to forget the sunscreen! Basically just worked my way around some flats and when I saw any transition in weeds and depth I worked the area with a pearch colored streamer. Lot's of action during the afternoon with average sized pike. Got checked by a fish and game guy on a jet ski which was a first. Good to see them out and patroling. For a first outing on this lake with a flyrod it was a great way to spend an afternoon.

Great pics. That's one thing I have done yet is catch pike on the fly.
