I went with Rocky and they have 800gr thinsulate, kept my feet warm and dry at all times very happy with them. As far as size can't help there I'm a 13D but go to there web-page I'm sure they will have something and the price wasn't that bad($130) or so I got mine at can-tire should be easy to find them. Good luck!

might be that I'm to dumb to know better or it might be that i'm just a cheap sob but I got a great pair of boots from wal-mart for $60. My feet didn't get cold or wet once. Herman Survivors Hollow Point 2 size 12 that fit my 11EE feet very nicely

I wear a pair of cabelas 8pt gore-tex boots. I have a pair for hunting(3 years old now with two full guiding seasons on them and very little wear and dont leak a drop) and also a pair that I wear for every day use around the farm. They are a great boot. They are 800grams of thinsulate. You can get them in the 6pt also(600gram). I beleive they were around $89US. Will never buy another kind again.

Default mid season dilema ...solved.

Thank you all for your advice. Decided to go with the Irish Setter Elk Trackers from Wholesale sports. Liked the look and feel, and sales staff was very helpful in helping select the size. Danner was a no go because of the width issues, and some of the other boots that fit good just seemed cheaply constructed. I'll let you know in the fall just how they performed.

Once again thanks for the advice.
