Default Chester

So I went out to try chester lake for the first time yesterday and turns out the trail is closed due recent bear activity. So if anyone is interested in heading up there just make sure to call to see if the trail reopened.

i wish i had read this sooner. we went to chester and ya it was closed. talk about having the wind knocked out of my sails. Had to go to rawson instead. I was looking forward to hooking into a big dolly but instead had to make due with a few small bows. Biggest was 15 inch. Not bad.
Did you go anywhere else that day?

A 15 inch cut. is a good fish. May have to re-think the outcome of that side trip!! Sounds like it worked out just fine. Way to go!

I should have looked in the regs first. I just wasnt seeing a definite red "cut" mark on them. The cuts i get in the Highwood have really quite definite marks. and less spots.

Hmmm...all the ones I've caught have been pretty easy to tell. The big fish out of there are as pretty as any I've ever seen.
