Spin fishing th ebow labour day long by Cochrane

Hey all, my sister has recently move to Cochrane and i'm heading out there this weekend and figure i may as well try some fishing while i'm down there, because i will surely get sick of her company after awhile. The probl;\em being is i have never fished any flowing water much larger then the creeks running around the Nordegg area and am wondering if anyone has any lure, location tips for this body of water around the townsite. Any help would be greatly appreciated feel free to pm if you are worried about secrets getting out. I appreciate all the help as this will probably be the last open water fishing of the summer, for hunting will soon be occupying my time.
