Default Canoe Lake Sask.

Anyone been up to Canoe this year? planning a trip to the cole bay cabins in Sept and wondering how the fishing has been. Thanks

I was up there fathers day weekend, but the fishing sucked so we ended up fishing Keely after half a day on Canoe.

I usually do very well on Canoe but it has been unkind this year.

Haven't been hearing a lot of good about Canoe this year...I'm not sure where the cabins you're staying at are located butyou might be better off checking out a different lake or two in the area.

Been hearing about pike in Kimball and the Waterhen recently. The Mustus' are usually not bad either.

dont go to little bear lake north of smeaton, 3.5 days fishing= 8 perch and one big one got away

I usually go to canoe once a year, usually in may, never caught a pickeral in there but some years 100s of pike.

Keeley i go ice fishing every feb/mar and never great fishing, did see a 21 # come out though

Canoe been going downhill for years used to be a great walleye lake, better off maybe going to green lake it's has some decent fishing at the far end. haven't been there yet this year though.

the problem with Canoe Lake is that they are alowed to net there all year. I am going to Keeley sept.17-20. and heard the fishing has been hot all summer.
