Any idea what kind of snake that first one is? I saw one near Edmonton recently that looked similar.

Yup they are garter snakes.... I think a wandering garter and a red-sided garter.. The toad is a western toad. Yeah Sasha fishing was not bad this summer, I didn't get out as much as I would have liked. I am more about hard water and hunting anyways.

No one else has any pics?? Come on guys and gals lets see em!!

Default bee

thats an alfalfa leafcutter bee, they use them all around here to pollinate their alfalfa crops, they take a little cutting to make their nests. did you report the leopard frog sighting? PM me if you want the biologists email, Ive had a few sightings and corresponded with him about them

Bear Pond grayling...

Gorgeous little brookies...

Rainbows...

Default Beautiful browns...

Next few pics are of a 25" brown that I landed on my 6ft 2wt TFO fly rod; my 12-year old daughter was with me & took some great pics. Becca also wanted to release this beauty...

Getting to share that day with my kid just made it that much more special!
BTW, that's the same fish below, in my signature...

Thanks Steve, for those who know me, I like great food.

I really like the half submersed pics of that brown, the colors are fantastic. Better get some of those framed for the "Masters Chamber"
